Mark Felix, (Director and Founder) took his first journey to France in 1982. He hasn?t stopped! He lived and studied in France in 1983, 1985, and 1989. He is a veteran French teacher who has led many tours to Europe. So why create this company?

Dear Traveler,

So you’d like to visit France but somebody told you “oh, the French are so rude.” The chances are good this person didn’t have the advantages that we offer. Would you rather travel alone to save money and waste valuable time getting your bearings? Or, would you prefer to travel with a guide that will show you the sights at your pace giving each traveler the attention they deserve. He or she will also be a guide who loves the country and the people. You see we prefer to use the word “journey” instead of “tour” because “tour” has such a negative connotation.

Maybe you’ve already experienced the tour with 40+ people crammed onto a huge coach bus while being herded from one monument to the next. What a nightmare! A small group is our specialty (groups of ten or less travelers). They guarantee you advantages that you won’t get on a large tour. The ease of travel and the increased flexibility of our tours mean that you can typically see more in less time. Better yet, if you want to see more by taking more time, our journeys allow for it. We can be as flexible or as punctual as you like. You want a very small group journey? Say four people? We will customize one to fit your needs.
